Absentee Payroll (AP) may help eligible employers with salary costs when employees attend eligible SSG-funded training. It is assessed under prevailing rules and is not automatic for every course or learner.

Before you rely on AP support

  • Confirm that the course, employer and sponsored employee meet current requirements.
  • Keep the attendance and claim information required for the course.
  • Check the current funding rate, disbursement conditions and submission process.

Claims are managed through the Enterprise Portal for Jobs & Skills (EPJS). Confirm the latest requirements before committing to a training plan.
