Enquiries and support

For course enquiries, call 6255 5108. Support is generally available Monday to Sunday, 8:30am to 6:00pm, excluding public holidays. Course pages may include a more specific contact for the provider running that programme.

How do I sign up for a course?

Individual learners should use the booking option on the course listing. Employers arranging training for staff should use the corporate booking route. Each learner should use a unique email address so that confirmations and certificates are matched correctly.

Is a deposit required?

Some SkillsFuture-supported bookings require a refundable deposit. The amount depends on the course and funding arrangement; common amounts are $10 or $30. When the course conditions are met, the deposit is normally returned within seven days after the course ends.

Where are classes held?

Training locations may include Jurong East, Toa Payoh and Tampines. Confirm the address shown on the course or booking confirmation because locations can vary by programme.

What time do classes run?

Many classes run during the day, commonly from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Check the timetable for the exact start and end time.

How will my booking be confirmed?

Individual learners usually receive confirmation by SMS or email after payment. For employer-sponsored bookings, the company HR contact or booking officer normally receives the confirmation.

What happens if I arrive late?

Late arrival may mean that you cannot join the class, examination or assessment. Plan to arrive early and follow the timing in your confirmation.

How do I receive my certificate?

Where electronic certification applies, competent learners are notified by SMS or email when their certificate or statement is available. Transcripts and statements may also be issued electronically.

Can I retake an assessment?

Retake arrangements depend on the programme. Some assessments can be retaken for an additional fee, while others do not offer a retake. Ask the training provider before booking.

Can I defer, transfer or withdraw?

Self-sponsored learners should contact the relevant branch at least seven days before class. Employer-sponsored learners should contact their HR representative or booking officer. Requests made closer to the course date may be subject to the refund policy and administrative charges.

Who is generally eligible for funding as a self-sponsored learner?

Eligibility depends on the course and the current funding rules. A common requirement is that the learner is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, is at least 21 years old and is taking the course for the first time. Check the course listing before relying on funding.

What is usually required for employer-sponsored funding?

The employer generally needs to be a Singapore-registered company, and the learner must meet the stated residency, employment and first-time-enrolment requirements. The employer should sponsor the full course fee and maintain the required employment records.

How do refunds work?

Self-sponsored learners should submit a request to the sales or training team. Corporate learners should go through their HR contact or booking officer. Requests made less than 14 days before the course may require approval and may incur an administrative charge.

Is GST charged?

GST may be applied to the full course fee before any subsidy or funding support. Refer to the quotation or booking confirmation for the amount payable.

What if I fail an assessment?

Some programmes allow a paid retake. A failed assessment may also affect the subsidy or funding outcome, so confirm the programme rules with the training provider.

What if I cannot attend?

If you have a valid reason for absence, the provider may offer a make-up arrangement at its discretion. For a planned deferment, transfer or withdrawal, written notice of about two weeks is recommended.

Where can I read the full policies?

The course listing and booking confirmation contain the conditions that apply to a specific programme. You can also review the privacy policy for personal-data questions.
